Description
Supercoil is designed to span up to 50 m openings on a single roller (one piece) eliminating, for the first time, the need for modular systems which can be difficult to synchronies, allow the passage of excess smoke, require more ceiling space and have reduced reliability.

Incorporating the Supercoil smoke curtain into your project can reduce the requirements for exhaust and air intake openings due to increased efficiency of smoke channelling. The header box is compact and this system, as with all of our fire and smoke curtain systems, provides an innovative tensioning system to significantly reduce the likelyhood of the curtain binding and causing motor burnout, significantly increasing the life of the system.

This system has won the high architectural quality (invisible fire protection) special award at the Innovation Competition Architectural and Building Industry 2002 in Europe.

Static Smoke Curtains

The Supercoil smoke curtain material can be fixed in place to create static smoke baffles.

Installation is simple. The low weight means that there are no load bearing issues that may be associated with other types of systems. Interfacing with complicated ceiling constructions such as arched ceilings and continuous bearers or beams is also easy.

Penetrations for pipe or cables can be made easily, even post installation.
